Hi,
basically in a couple of weeks I am going on a hen night. Going out really stresses me out as I always look awful and am always accompanied by my much skinnier/prettier friends. So obviously with me being in normal going out closes and that stressing me I'm sure you can see that having to dress a certain way that I'm not comfortable with doubles the stress.
At the minute I'm so worried and my friends are all sorted, shorts and fishnets and shirts and ties etc but I have no idea what to wear.
Put me near a shirt/tie and I look like a great big fat man.
What can I do?
I generally go out wearing tights and boots with either a skirt and top or some sort of girly, plainish and generally black dress. Something to try and hide how horrible I look.
Any ideas for a gangster theme that doesn't look hideous?! All the costumes I've looked at for inspiration, I don't want to buy a specific costume though, are all for really thin and pretty girls.

One of my friends is having a fancy dress party for her 16th and we can't go as fairies/devils/angels!
So me and my two other friends decided to go as pebbles, betty rubble and wilma from the flintstones
the other two have got their costumes but i need to find mine..
i need:
-A white dress and
-An orangy/gingery wig
I must admit i haven't really been looking around despite the party being 1 week away!! -so highstreet is my only option:)
but i'm also worried that i won't be able to find something because of my size, size 18
Any ideas?
Its for a 26th birthday get together, we're going out around the local town at night in mid November. We'd like to go dressed up as a group like nurses or school girls. Nothing too skimpy as we are mature lol but it has to be sexy. Nothing like banana costumes lol

I have a party coming up where me and my friend (both girls) want to go as a pair dressed up. At first we had the idea of Beyonce and Lady Gaga but this would have cost too much as we would have to get wigs and Lady Gaga's costumes are craazy. So could you please give me so low cost ideas for fancy dress- as pair- for two girls?

and the builders thing, yea a bit wierd lol but she said we could wear like denim shorts, vest tops and get the high vis jackets (£1 shop) and some cheap hard hats.

Me and my two sisters are going to a fancy dress party on friday so have to get our costumes sorted pretty quickly and simply. the theme is tv and movies. we would all preferably like to go as something related. we don't want too be 'slutty' we want too make everyone laugh and don't care about looking stupid.

I have my local show coming up on the 27th September, every year i do the fancy dress class and always really enjoy it ! I have helped and made many costumes the last few years for younger children around where i live as they use my little 'donkey' for the day ! This year i have entered one of our horses 'Black Jack Prancer' he is a black and white half bread shire at 16.2hh. He is 19 the day of the show and i really cant think of a good idea this year for myself !!! My mum and aunties are coming out on my hen night, there will be about 20 of us and we are all going in fancy dress some of the costumes are quite revealing, (my mum and aunts wouldn't wear anything revealing)
