    Two or three of us school office ladies (one might not get involved) need fancy dress outfits for a school fancy dress day. Other than Pink Ladies from Grease we have no ideas. We don't mind not being female characters, but we need to be recognisable by the high school kids and from film, book or TV. As it is summer costumes need not to be too heavy and we don't want to spend too much.

      I need a blonde wig in a pony tail like this but going on reviews this one isnt meant to look very good so maybe a more expensive one.

      I've got a fancy dress party coming up in three days, no particular theme, but I have no idea what to go as.       Next week at school is a fancy dress charity day. I pretty much hate fancy dress stuff cause I'm rubbish at getting a costume together. So what are things that I could dress up as (that are warm!) and don't involve me having to buy a load.

      I recently bought a fancy dress short black wig but it is really thick hair.

      I am going as Mia Wallace from Pulp fiction and in the film her hair looks nothing like it.

      I can't refund it now, just wondered if there are ways i can make it thinner without attempting to straighten it and possibly ruin it?

      I daren't cut it either lol and i dont have any hairdresser friends :( i was thinking more of washing it??
