going to a concert and need an idea of a costume... the theme is 'what you want to be when your older' now i wanted to go as a superhero... but probably isnt wise... might still do it though so was just wondering if anyone has ne good ideas cos i really dont know what to be and i havnt really decided on a career yet lol

can you give me some ideas that are easy to do, like so i wont have to buy a costume
the party's being held at a nightclub so i don't really want to have to carry things
so far other girls are going as bumble bees, army girls, cave girls, nurses, and cats

I'm planning on cosplaying Rogue at an expo. I already have the suit and everything, but last time I wore it (to a fancy dress party), I used the hair style form the movies, i.e. white strips either side of face.
However, since the costume is the green and yellow one from the animated series, I would like to use the X-Men TAS hair this time as well. This is where you guys come in - I can't find anywhere that sells a Rogue wig. And I've never made a wig before.

So I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to create the wig, preferably using a simple method.

On Friday got a Greek/Roman themed party - it's an afternoon picnic so don't want anything too outlandish and don't want to buy an outfit but rather put on together with maybe a few bought accessories. Any ideas? Can be monsters, gods, mythological characers etc...

So it's our last day of sixth form and we want to dress up as something, it needs to be fun but also seeming as photos are going to be taken it needs to look good to, IE no blue smurf faces lol

There's about 12 of us in the group and we were looking for something to do that hasn't been done before. There's always a group dressed as school girls, pirates, cats or strangely ninjas....

Its my 40th birthday at new year, the timing is always a pain for getting people together. I'm determined to have a fun and memorable party. I don't really want lots of people dressed up as teddy bears, I want something original but that won't cost people a fortune to hire. If its a good theme it would be nice to dress the room in that style; ideas?

basically in a couple of weeks I am going on a hen night. Going out really stresses me out as I always look awful and am always accompanied by my much skinnier/prettier friends. So obviously with me being in normal going out closes and that stressing me I'm sure you can see that having to dress a certain way that I'm not comfortable with doubles the stress.
At the minute I'm so worried and my friends are all sorted, shorts and fishnets and shirts and ties etc but I have no idea what to wear.
Put me near a shirt/tie and I look like a great big fat man.
What can I do?
I generally go out wearing tights and boots with either a skirt and top or some sort of girly, plainish and generally black dress. Something to try and hide how horrible I look.
Any ideas for a gangster theme that doesn't look hideous?! All the costumes I've looked at for inspiration, I don't want to buy a specific costume though, are all for really thin and pretty girls.
